On November 3, members of the WGA team (Chief Operating Officer Lisa DeRose, her husband Dan, Senior Accountant Kelly Blair, Staff Accountant Sarah Diffley and Marketing Manager Christa McLaughlin) slipped into elf mode to decorate a tree for CASA of Cecil County’s Festival of Trees.
 
The Festival of Trees is the primary fundraiser for their Youth Transitional Housing Project, a resource for young adults who find themselves homeless after aging out of the foster care system. Since the Festival of Trees started in 2017, they have raised enough funds to contribute to the down payment on a property that will eventually serve as safe and stable housing for Cecil County foster children aged 16 to 20 years old. The trees will be on display at Woody’s in North East, MD and are up for auction.
