Whisman Giordano & Associates is proud to announce three new Managers:

  • Christopher Kobus, CPA
  • Brian K. Moreau, MS, CPA, CFE
  • Kevin Sanok, EA, MSA

Kobus joined WGA in 2015 and immediately took on various leadership roles, such as managing engagement teams and the education schedule. He is a native of Delaware and attended Salesianum School and DeSales University. Kobus is active throughout the community and serves on the Finance Committee for the Nativity Preparatory School in Wilmington and the Delaware Contractors Association’s Young Executives Committee. Regarding the promotion, Kobus shared, “I am looking forward to taking on the challenges and opportunities presented with this new role especially impacting client service and helping lead the firm into the future.”

Moreau joined WGA in 2015 and started as a staff accountant, and worked his way up the WGA ranks. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Maryland University College. Additionally, he is a Certified Fraud Examiner and an adjunct accounting professor at a local college. Moreau honed his top-notch client services skills during his 15 years in the golf industry. He shared, “Connecting with clients is at the heart of what we do here. This promotion gives me an even greater opportunity to lead by example to my teammates. It’s an exciting time to be part of this growing firm.”

Sanok joined WGA in 2017 and strengthened the tax department with his ability to research, understand and implement tax rules to benefit WGA’s clients. He holds degrees in accounting from both the University of Delaware and Wilmington University. Sanok is instrumental in serving as a mentor to staff and keeping the team apprised of the latest tax information. He shared his thoughts on the promotion, “It’s nice to know that the partners at WGA have seen me grow and have noticed all the hard work I have put in the last five years. It’s unique to be at a place that wants and helps you to succeed.”

Regarding these promotions, President and Managing Director Joseph V. Giordano, CPA, CGMA, said, “Chris, Brian, and Kevin embody the strengths that make Whisman Giordano a leading firm.
