Whisman Giordano was happy to donate to Shriners Children’s fundraising campaign. Shriners Children’s (previously named Shriners Hospitals for Children) opened its first hospital in 1922 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Today, they have 20 hospitals in the USA, one hospital in Canada, and one in Mexico. Shriners Children’s is committed to improving children’s lives through compassionate care in a supportive environment. They care for a range of orthopedic issues, as well as care for burn injuries, craniofacial conditions, spine care and spinal cord injuries, colorectal and gastrointestinal care, and sports medicine.
