We are celebrating the selection of Julie Morgan, CPA as a 2019 Women in Business honoree, as chosen by the editors of Delaware Today and the Delaware Business Times.
Julie is deserving of this award due to a lifelong career of excellence. She graduated from California State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. While carrying a full course load as an undergrad, she took it upon herself to found Morgan Business Systems, a bookkeeping and tax preparation service.
Today, Julie has nearly 40 years of experience in both private and public accounting. At Whisman Giordano, she participates in the overall management of the firm and is the partner in charge of quality control and the accounting and auditing department.
Ever since becoming a Delaware resident 20 years ago, Julie has dedicated herself to the community. She has been involved, or is actively involved, in numerous boards such as the Better Business Bureau of Delaware, Habitat for Humanity, Delaware Theatre Company, Nativity Preparatory School of Wilmington, and Serviam Girls Academy.
Joseph V. Giordano, Managing Director and President, states, “Whisman Giordano is beyond proud of Julie. What we appreciate about her even more than her superior technical skills and knowledge is her heart. She truly cares for our clients and associates. She is a leader, friend, mentor, and volunteer. Everyone trusts her because she cares about the well-being of people. It is rare to find someone as well-rounded as Julie.”
