On March 21^st, the Whisman Giordano team proudly donned mismatched socks to participate in the Rock Your Socks initiative to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day and support the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware. Every year on March 21st, the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware brings together local schools, businesses, organizations, and the community to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day and advocate for the rights, inclusion, and well-being of people with Down syndrome. The meaning of the mismatched socks is to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which is Down syndrome.
